   For 14 years, Rome (Muñoz) and Ethan (Santos) have been married. He is her life's passion, and she is his number one fan. They're first to each other, then to their mates, they're the dream couple. When the two start to believe like their friendship has gone stagnant, the possibility of opening up is discussed. It's something that Ethan wants to do, because it's the only way Rome knows that her guy can be kept. They accept that they are permitted to have sex with strangers, but are not permitted to fall in love. The two continue to "explore" in a relationship built over time, expecting to rescue the very same thing they are giving up. Ultimately, they learn the value of the very thing of which they have been blind—a partnership without confidence will inevitably collapse.
