Evil sorceress The forces of Queen Ravenna cause her to realize that her younger sister Freya, whose powers have not yet arisen, is not only engaged in an unlawful affair with Andrew, a nobleman already engaged elsewhere, but is also pregnant with her child. Freya learns sometime after Freya gives birth to a baby girl that Andrew not only reneged on his vow of elopement with her, but also killed their boy. Her shattered heart freezes over in a grief-fueled fury, and with her unexpected emergence of powers - the elemental control of ice - she kills him.
