Synopsis:
Joseph Watkins, the opportunist and liar, puts on a play in a theater with a murderous history to please Virginia, an actress on the brink of leaving the city. Joseph becomes intoxicated with the spirit of the theater when evading two policemen and his stage manager's warning, and starts to murder those who get in his way.
