Synopsis:
An American heartland tale in our society that is very timely and, sadly, very widespread. A bullied young boy with gender identity is dealing with an abusive boyfriend and a heroin addicted mum. Recently released from jail after serving 12 years for attempted murder, Palmer (Justin Timberlake) moves in with his grandmother and re-discovers his spirit in the process of having to embrace his past and a new way of living in the world.
