When catastrophic climate change threatens Earth's existence, world leaders come together to launch the Dutch Boy Initiative, a vast network of satellites encircling the globe and fitted with geoengineering technology to prevent natural disasters. After three years of successfully defending the earth, something is beginning to go wrong. Until a global Geostorm will engulf the earth, two estranged brothers are charged with resolving the program's failure.
