MORTAL KOMBAT 2021

     Cole Young (Lewis Tan), an MMA fighter used to taking a beating for money, has no idea who he is or why Outworld's Emperor Shang Tsung (Chin Han) has dispatched his best hero, Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), an otherworldly Cryomancer, to track him down. Fearing for his family's survival, Cole seeks out Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee) with the help of Jax (Mehcad Brooks), a Special Forces Major who shares Cole's unusual dragon branding. Soon after, he arrives at the temple of Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), an Elder God and Earthrealm's guardian, who offers refuge to those who wear the mark. Cole trains with seasoned fighters Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Kung Lao (Max Huang), and outlaw mercenary Kano (Josh Lawson) as he prepares to face the forces of Outworld in a high-stakes fight for the cosmos. Will Cole be moved far enough to unleash his arcana—the incredible strength hidden deep inside his soul—in time to save the world?
