THE MEG 2018

     Five years ago, professional sea diver and Naval Captain Jonas Taylor encountered an unseen danger in the Mariana Trench's unexplored depths, forcing him to abandon half of his crew and abort his search. While the horrific event resulted in his discharge from service, it was his unsupported and incredulous assertions about what caused it - an assault on his submarine by a mammoth, 70-foot sea monster thought to be extinct for over a million years - that eventually lost him his reputation, marriage, and some semblance of dignity. But he's the one who gets the call as a submersible sinks and becomes crippled at the bottom of the ocean, bearing his ex-wife among the crew. If it's a chance at survival or a death mission, Jonas must face his fears and risk his life, as well as the lives of all stuck below, to answer one question: Could the Carcharodon Megalodon, the world's greatest aquatic predator, still be alive and on the hunt?
