Synopsis:
The expert in guerrilla tactics, John Rambo, weary of the horrors of war, has settled in exotic Thailand since the suicide rescue mission in Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985). John, however, will return to action when, after a botched attempt to help the remaining rebel pockets, his grizzled mentor, Colonel Sam Trautman, gets trapped behind enemy lines in Soviet-infested Afghanistan. Now, there's no turning back—and as every minute counts—before it's too late, John must act fast. Again, if the men of the ruthless Soviet Colonel, Zaysen, capture him, the government will deny John's existence. But, John shows no mercy, and he fights for his friend this time. Is Rambo able to save the only man that ever stood by him?
