Storyline:
    R is a young and oddly introspective zombie like most of the world's population becoming an undead horde. R encounters Julie while competing with and dining on a human scavenger party, and experiences a desire to protect her. Next, what happens is the start of an oddly warm friendship that helps R to begin to recover his humanity. When this transition progresses like a plague through the local zombie community, as the very essence of their relationship is threatened, Julie and R finally have to confront a greater dilemma. R and Julie must find a way to cross the gaps between the paranoid human powers and the ferocious "Bonies" zombies that are a mutual threat, to struggle for a better future that no one thought imaginable.
